Not so silent but potentially deadly
A Florida woman, Shanetta Yvette Wilson, is charged with aggravated assault after she threatened to gut a nearby customer in a dollar store.
Wilson pulled out a small folding knife when the customer complained that she farted loudly. It is unclear whether Wilson has a lawyer.

Minnesota man fakes death for $2M con
A Minnesota resident, Igor Vorotinov, was accused of faking his own death seven years ago. By dressing up a corpse in his clothing and ID, Vorotinov was able to collect $2 million dollars in life insurance.
His wife, Irina Vorotinov, confessed to her role in the plan and was given a three-year sentence. The money was transferred to their son’s accounts in Switzerland and Moldova.

Clash of the condiments at Popeye’s
A Louisiana man entered Popeye’s Friday only to get into a fight with the manager about the choice of condiments. The fight took a dangerous turn when the man, Earl Jethroe, pulled a gun on the manager.
At some point, the report depicts Jethroe throwing his chicken and pulling out the pistol from his hip; however the gun was not fired and no one was hurt.
Jethroe was then depicted yelling in another restaurant; authorities say he smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet. Jethroe was arrested and charged with offenses including aggravated assault with a firearm.

New York cop saves chicken from fire
A body cam video shows a police officer in Ossining, N. Y. rescuing a chicken from a shed fire.
The officer removed some propane tanks to reveal the chicken, and the police posted the event on Facebook saying “Somewhere around the first day of field training, some salty cop usually hits you with, ‘Kid, you wouldn’t believe what goes on around here if I told you.'”

Utah teens accused of stealing small plane
Two Utah teenage boys were arrested for stealing a small private plane from Vernal Regional Airport. The two boys said they had taken the plane and flown it 15 miles before landing successfully.
The boys were arrested at the airport and were being held at Split Mountain Youth Detention Center.

You’ve got mail
In London, Jase Hyndman, a 7-year-old Scottish boy, sent a birthday card to his dead father in heaven.
A Royal Mail official responded to the boys card by writing one back saying “This was a difficult challenge avoiding stars and other galactic objects on route to heaven. However, please be assured that this particular important item of mail has been delivered.”
Jase’s mother, Teri Copland, posted images of the letters on Facebook, which have been shared more than 260,000 times.
