It’s been a challenging nine months, but the 2018-2019 school year is quickly coming to a close.
This year has been big for the entertainment scene, from blockbuster superhero films to breakout celebrities.
We asked Boone students about their favorite shows, movies, video games, music, YouTubers and celebrities from this school year. Here are their responses—plus some staff recommendations.
Apex Legends took the standard battle royale format and changed it drastically in many ways. It was revolutionary because it not only combined battle royale elements but elements from other genres too, such as hero-based shooters like “Overwatch.”
The use of special abilities sets the game apart from other battle royales such as “Fortnite” and “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.” The game alone is fantastic, and it’s no wonder players are enjoying it for its unique and entertaining gameplay.
