It will be a thrill-filled action film with allies turning to enemies in a heartbeat. It breaks down into a story about what a person is willing to do for money.
It stars Matt Damon as Lieutenant Dane Dumars, Ben Affleck as Det Sergeant JD Byrne, with Kyle Chandler, Scott Adkins, Nestor Carbonell, and Steven Yeun.
“The Rip” releases Jan. 16 exclusively on Netflix.
Scream 7
The Scream movies are a combination of both scary slasher film and clever satire which makes them very interesting. “Scream 7” continues the story this winter.
When a new Ghostface emerges in the town where Sidney Prescott built her new life.
her darkest fears come true and her daughter becomes the next target. Having to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the Ghostface killers once and for all.
Neve Campbell returns as Sydney, Courteney Cox returns as Gale Weathers and Isabel May plays Sydney’s daughter.
“Scream 7” will come out Feb. 27 and lots of horror fans are excited.
Minions 3
A movie franchise that Gen Z grew up with is getting its seventh film in 2026 when a new Minion movie comes out.
Steve Carrell is returning as Gru in a series that fans love for the humor and the adorable yellow minions. It will be directed by franchise veteran Pierre Coffin with a script by Brian Lynch.
While the plot is not yet confirmed, the rumored title is “Minions & Monsters” which suggests a monster-themed story. One of the new characters’ names is Dr. Vyktor Vile.
The movie is expected to be rated PG, so very kid friendly but entertaining for all ages.
“Minions 3” is coming out on July 1.
Spiderman Brand New Day
Picking up after “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Peter Parker is forgotten by everyone and tries to lead a normal life, attempting to balance hero life with being a college student.
Little more is known about the plot of the film, but the returning cast includes Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, and J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson.
The cast expands out to include star-studded appearances by Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Micheal Mando as Scorpion, and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone.
It releases July 31.
Terrifier 4
“Terrifier 4” will serve as the “epic and horrifying conclusion” for the Art the Clown saga and will finally explore the character’s origin story.
Art the Clown is a demonic, sadistic antagonist who first appeared in director Damien Leone’s short films.
Previous movies have explored how Art the Clown’s own sadistic nature can be exploited by making him take pleasure in tormenting victims rather than killing them outright.
The plot is expected to feature Sienna potentially venturing into hell to save her cousin Gabby and a depowered Art seeking to regain his strength.
“Terrifier 4” will be coming out Oct. 30.
The Odyssey
“The Odyssey,” an ancient Greek poem by Homer, is being brought to life by director Christopher Nolan, the same director who made “Interstellar” and “Inception.”
The movie stars Matt Damon as Odysseus and a cast that includes Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson.
“The Odyssey” is going to excite those who are interested in Greek mythology and action packed movies. It depicts the hero Odysseus’ ten-year voyage undertaken to journey home to Ithaca after the Trojan War.
“The Odyssey” was filmed in Greece, Scotland, Iceland, Morocco, Sicily, and the western Sahara and is set for release July 17.
Moana
Disney’s latest live action remake will tell the story of Moana, the teenage girl who voyages the ocean blue to try and restore the heart of the land.
This movie stars Catherine Laga’aia as Moana, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Maui, John Tui as Chief Tui, Frankie Adams as Sina, and Rena Owen as Gramma Tala.
This movie is going to excite those who watched the original animated version of “Moana,” want to see the movie come to life, and enjoy stories with rescue missions and family bonding.
This movie was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, and Oahu, Hawaii, and is set for release July 10.
Toy Story 5
A Pixar franchise that people have loved for 30 years gets a new movie in 2026.
Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), and Jessie (Joan Cusack) reunite for “Toy Story 5.”
The movie will be about the toys’ struggle to remain relevant in a world dominated by technology, as a new tablet called the “Lily Pad” replaces traditional playtime for Bonnie.
The story will explore how the toys, led by Jessie, face this new challenge, which will include a reunion between Woody, Buzz, and the other toys.
“Toy Story 5” is scheduled for release on July 19.
