Michele Prusinowski
New family and consumer science teacher Michele Prusinowski enjoys traveling in her free time, and she has gone as far as Asia and Alaska.
Prunisowski has travelled to Alaska, Florida, South Carolina, Pikes Peak in Colorado, South Korea and a cruise in Sitka, Alaska.
While Prunisowski was in South Korea, she visited Bukchon Hanok Village, which is a traditional Korean residential neighborhood known for its hanok. Hanok is a traditional Korean house made for communal living.
Beyond these outside activities, Prusinowski hasn’t lost her passion for teaching as she has been teaching for a little over 20 years.
“I love working with students and watching their eyes light up when they ‘get it’ or are enjoying what they are doing,” Prusinowski said.

Caleb Carr
New English teacher Caleb Carr competes in Beyblade tournaments in his free time
A few weeks ago in Ohio, he recently won a Beyblade tournament. This is very interesting due to the fact not many people are interested in Beyblades anymore.
Beyblades were created in 1999 and released in most states around 2002, Carr was born 1998, and he grew up playing with these Beyblades.
Carr also enjoys spending his spare time snowboarding, hiking, playing video games and relaxing in his free time.
He also enjoys watching anime and reading Manga when he is not teaching students. Along with reading manga he enjoys reading comic books and crafting.
While Carr does all of these outside activities it does not affect his passion for being a teacher.
“I am honored to help guide you all to your future endeavors by being your teacher and teaching you about the world through literature,” Carr said.

Bryley Murphey
New math teacher Bryley Murphy enjoys watching sports, cooking, and reading in his free time.
He said he really enjoys going to games in person.
His favorite teams are the Bengals and the Reds. The Reds won 83 games this season, and made it into the playoffs, but they lost against the Dodgers in Los Angeles .
Murphy enjoys teaching math even though it is not normally students favorite subject.
“I enjoy connecting with students and helping them in a subject that is often a struggle (math),” Murphy said. “I enjoy the surprise when students realize math is not an insurmountable challenge, but a system of patterns to learn and apply.”
He enjoys teaching high school students because he enjoys helping them transition into adulthood, and they are more involved with the other grades.

Jordan Zecchini
New business and personal finance teacher Jordan Zecchini came to teaching after working for the University of the Cumberlands.
As an enrollment counselor at University of the Cumberlands, Zecchini discovered her interest in working with young people.
“During my time in that job, my passion for working with students and their families grew,” Zecchini said. “I wanted to make an impact on someone in the same time of life (that) I wish I had someone to make an impact on me.”
What she enjoys most about being a first time teacher is getting to know her students and interacting with them.
When she is not teaching, she said she enjoys visiting coffee shops, going to the movies, hanging out with friends, taking walks, shopping (or retail therapy, as she calls it), and going to random events hosted on Facebook.
