Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection

After eight years of Monster Hunter Stories games, CapCom is finally going to be coming out with a Monster Hunters Stories 3.
“Monster Hunter Stories 3:Twisted Reflection” will be about a conflict between two kingdoms, Azuria and Vermeil, who are struggling against a destructive Crystal Encroachment.
The game will feature a larger, more open world with enhanced traversal, especially the ability to instantly swap between monsters on the fly for different abilities like flying and climbing.
Gameplay will include faster, more fluid turn-based combat with a revamped UI, the ability to attack wild monsters in the overworld for loot, and a more detailed battle system that shows monster buff/debuffs and elemental weaknesses.
The game’s visuals will have an anime-style with a cell-shaded look, compared to games like Persona and Zelda.

Subnautica 2
Six years after “Subnautica” and its very popular sequel, “Subnautica: Below Zero,” Unknown World Entertainment is releasing a brand new “Subnautica 2.” Subnautica 2 will be available on PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) and Xbox Series X|S.“Subnautica 2” will feature a new story and a new alien ocean world, with players taking on the role of a pioneer whose mission becomes mysterious after the ship’s AI insists they continue despite the world being too dangerous for humans to survive. The infection from the previous games has been cured, and the story will explore how to survive this alien planet, with a focus on both the wonders and dangers of its depths.Some new gameplay has been revealed where the game will feature an optional cooperative multiplayer mode for up to four players. The developers have stated that multiplayer is not the primary focus, and players can still have a complete single-player experience.

Forza Horizon 6

Playground Games with the help from Turn 10 Studios is releasing another Forza Horizon game, four years after a reviewer at Polygon.com said “Forza Horizon 5” was “both the best game in the series, and a reminder of how good everything preceding it was.”
“Forza Horizon 6” will take place in Japan, and players will experience iconic Japanese landscapes, from neon-lit cities to mountain roads while they build their status to become a racing legend at the Horizon Festival.
The game is expected to feature a large and detailed open world map, including verticality with layered roads inspired by the Hot Wheels expansion from “Forza Horizon 5.” There is speculation about an improved progression system and potential return of a main villain.
It is anticipated because of the long awaited setting in Japan. How will this highly anticipated game perform?

Grand Theft Auto VI

Twelve years after Rockstar Games’ “Grand Theft Auto 5” took the world by storm, a sequel is coming.
“Grand Theft Auto VI,” commonly called “GTA6,” will delve further into a fully realized, modern version of Vice City, the Miami-inspired city from past games.
The first official trailer, released in December 2023, revealed crucial details about the game’s setting, protagonists, themes, and tentative release date.
Some gameplay is set to feature two playable protagonists in a reimagined Florida-inspired state called Leonida, with a focus on immersive new systems for AI, physics, and world interaction. The story will follow a criminal couple, Lucia and Jason, and incorporate dual-character gameplay.
The game is scheduled for release on Nov. 19, 2026 on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Marvel’s Wolverine

With the success of the Spider-Man games, Insomniac Games is now releasing a new superhero game: “Marvel’s Wolverine.” The game was first announced with a brief teaser trailer in September 2021 at Playstation Showcase.
After four years of nothing, Insomniac released a gameplay trailer in September 2025.
The trailer showcased how violent the gameplay is with fast, fluid and brutal close combat with gruesome action and realistic blood. It also showed what enemies players have to fight, such as Omega Red, Mystique, the Reavers, and Sentinels.
The game’s plot will focus on Wolverine’s mysterious past and dangerous missions he’ll have to face to uncover the truth.
The game will be a PS5 exclusive.
With the release of the trailer, fans have been speculating what other characters they might see and if there are any more game mechanics that haven’t been shown yet.

Resident Evil Requiem

Four years after the success of “Resident Evil Village,” Capcom is releasing the ninth main game in the Resident Evil series, that being “Resident Evil:Requiem.”
This game is releasing on the 30th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise and is set to go back to its original roots.
“Resident Evil: Requiem” will bring fans back to Raccoon City, an iconic location in the series, and focus on true survival horror, aiming to be scarier than previous games.
The plot focuses on FBI analyst, Grace Ashcroft, who investigates a series of mysterious deaths linked to an unknown disease. This leads her to go to Wrenwood Hotel, the site of her mother’s death eight years prior, and it leads her to confront her past and uncover the truth behind the Raccoon City incident and its biological horrors.
Some gameplay reveals that the game will feature a mix of first person and third-person perspectives, stealth, and strategic combat as players try to survive the relentless monster that stalks the main character.
“Resident Evil: Requiem,” will be on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XS, and Nintendo Switch. After previous games, will this game be scarier than the last one?
